Central Dalmatia - the Island of Brac Nudist Guide - Map of island

Brac is the highest and third largest island in the Adriatic. Pine forests, olive groves, and vineyards are plentiful. Traditional seaside pleasures are to be found in the numerous bays, on sandy and gravel beaches that form the long and well-indented coast of Brac.

The beaches have something special, particularly the Zlatni Rat beach - their gravel promontory shifts from side to side as the wind and waves constantly change their shapes. Interesting note: The white stone of Brac has been used in many famous buildings, including the White House in Washington, DC.

Paklina - naturist beach image

On the southern side of the island, near the village of Bol, world famous sandy beach "Zlatni Rat"(Golden Horn) is located. In the near coves and bays many sandy and pebbled beaches can be found.

One of the most known is Paklina FKK beach. It is located at the western end of the famous "Golden Horn". Snacks and drinks at the textile beach (approx. 200 meters). Both, the naturist and the textile beach are well attended in the high season. Naturist section is pebbled and if you like more private places, keep walking to the west where some nice small pebble and rocky coves can be found.

Because of the winds, Bol is famous for windsurfing, so if you are a windsurfing fan, this could be the place for you. Other naturist beaches on the island can be found on the east coast, between Supetar and Sumartin.

Jerolim - naturist beach on the island of Jerolim - Map

On the island of Jerolim (named after a 15th-century church which has since disappeared), directly opposite Hvar town, there is a well-known and long-established naturist beach, equipped with showers and a shop, but further away one can find many isolated places.

A boat runs several times a day from Hvar harbor. Boats are leaving at about every half hour or so from 9am-1pm, returning at half hour intervals between 4pm and 6pm. Same goes for Stipanska. For further islands (Palmizana) boats are leaving hourly in the morning.

A group of several small islands called Hell's islandis situated in front of the southwestern coast of the island of Hvar. It is a group of limestone islands with rocky and barren shores. The main parts of the islands are covered in macchia and low forests. The currents flowing around the islands are strong, and the passages between them shallow which makes it impossible for larger ships to appriach the islands.

Beautiful coves with sandy and pebble beaches along with the crystal-clear sea attract numerous tourists and excursionists, and especially boatmen. The small islands enable diving, underwater fishing, swimming and water sports. Rides on taxi boats between Hell's islands and the island of Hvar, produce a special charm and atmosphere
