A new Croatia by ferry service from
Trieste to Istria has finally become a reality. Usitca Lines, Italian ferry company has announced a new ferry route from Trieste to Portoroz (Slovenija), Porec and Rovinj (Istria). This line will operate from April 24 to September 21.
Finaly, from
Dubrovnik to Korcula by catamaran! Good news for all who would like to visit Korcula (small Dubrovnik) on a day excursion from Dubrovnik. Started last year it will go on even this year sailing few times a week from Dubrovnik to Mljet island, Sipan, Korcula and Lastovo.
As a new contribution to Croatia by ferry, since mid summer of 2007
between Pula to Zadar there is a fast catamaran connections. This only passengers ferry runs only in high season and it stops on islands Losinj, Unije and Ilovik. It take up to 325 passengers with maximum speed of 30 knots. Catamaran Bisevo is run by Split Toursa ferry company. One way ticket price is 100 Kuna, while from Mali Losinj to Pula or Zadar is 50 Kuna one way.
