Croatia fishing and Adriatic sea has a unique characteristic which puts it in front of other fishing destinations. Namely, the bluefin tuna fishing, otherwise a highly migratory species has chosen Adriatic sea for it's home and this is the only known place on earth, where bluefin can be caught any time of the year.

Bluefin tuna here range from baby size to giants in the range over 300 kg. They are present along the outer coast of the hundreds of islands and often they come well inshore entering estuaries and channels.
