Diving courses and diving clubs!
There are numerous diving centers and clubs along the coast of Croatia. They organize diving courses for both , the beginners, experienced divers and snorkeling courses for children. All courses are very affordable and highly professional . They also hire equipment and offer excursions in the most beautiful locations. They have years of experience in education with all world class associations - PADI, SSI, CMAS, UDI.
For your safety , keep in mind that diving centers are strictly controlled by the Ministry for Maritime Affairs (please see the general regulations for diving in pdf format). With a sea so beautiful as the Adriatic, we have chosen diving clubs that have been around for years and familiar of their areas, knowing the best and most interesting places to dive - and the safest.
Here is detailed description of courses and services we offer in Croatia with our partner diving centers. | Diving courses | Diving courses description | | Basic Scuba | 3 days - 3 hours a day. Introduction to basics of snorkelling (first day) and basics of diving with full diving equipment (two dives). Diploma. | | Junior OWD | Complete course in duration of 6 days for children from 12 to15 years of age. Books and complete didactic material in personal native language. Diploma and internationally acknowledged diving license. | | Open Water Diver | Complete course in duration of 5 days. Books and complete didactic materials in personal native language. Diploma. | | Advanced OWD | 5 days.course. Books and complete didactic material. Consists of 4 specialties : Night Diving, Deep Diving, and Navigation, and the fourth is chosen by the student (Wreck Diving, Boat Diving, Stress&Rescue ... etc). Diploma and internationally acknowledged diving license. | | Experienced Divers | Diving course for divers with some previous experience but with no diving license. This course qualifies students to obtain an internationally acknowledged Open Water Diver card (license) and diploma. | | Specialty Diver | Specialty courses such as Deep Diving, Navigation, Night Diving, Wreck Diving, Boat Diving. Each specialty consists of 3 related dives. Diploma and internationally acknowledged diving license (brevet). | | Nitrox Diver | This course offers introduction and learning about theory and techniques of diving with enriched air mixtures. 4 days diving course. Includes complete didactic material, diploma and international diving license. | | Stress & Rescue | Course about self-rescue, recognizing stress and rescue in cases of diving accidents. Complete didactic material, diploma, and internationally acknowledged diving license. | | Scuba Rangers | This course is intended for children from 8 to 12 years of age. It's completely adjusted to the children's level of understanding and comprehension of theory, as well as practical exercises. It lasts 4 days and all didactic material, diploma, and internationally acknowledged diving license are included. | | First Aid Diver | This course consists of learning about the basics First Aid and reanimation. Didactic material, diploma and international diving card are included. | | Check dive | 1 dive with an instructor. The purpose of this dive is the skill-check of already certified divers after a longer break from diving (refreshing dive), in order to test the readiness of a diver to continue diving within the program of the diving base. |
