Brac online hotels

Brac online is a useful page for those who have decided to visit Brac island for longer vacations or to take a short day
or two excursion to explore the most interesting Brac’s villages. As the largest and the most closest island to Split capital, Brac offers major resorts, several sleepy villages and astonishing Mediterranean landscape. The climate is sunny, hot and dry during the summer period and mild and rainy in winter time. With more than 2700 hours of sunshine a year is the main reason for Brac island to become one of the most frequently visited island.

Brac island is a island of good wine, olive oil, figs, almonds and sour cherries, but Brac is known for stone export. Diocletian’s palace and the White House in Washington DC were built from Brac’s glistening white stone, which is still quarried and exported.

Getting there and away
From Split there are, in high season (mid June to the end of September) , 13 car ferries a day to Supetar. It takes only an hour to get in Supetar port where you can take one of five times bus a day for 40 minutes ride to Bol.
These are also from three to five car ferries per day between Mararska and Sumartin port only for those visiting Brac island by car.
Dalmacijatourist travel agency runs a fast only passenger boat between Split and Bol. It’s an hour and the half to reach Bol, with a stop at Milna village. You can by a ticket on board but I do suggest to buy return ticket in Split because it costs less. This connection is excellent for a day or two excursion to Bol village.

  • Reviews of Villa Adriatica:This was our 3rd visit to the beautiful island of Brac in Croatia and also our 3rd stay in Villa Adriatica which is just a short walk from the waters edge and Supertar's harbour . The welcome received at Villa Adriatica is nothing short of excellent. On all three visits we have always been greeted with genuine smiles.
  • Reviews of Bracka Perla - lovely little hotel This is a wonderful little boutique style hotel with just 11 rooms! We stayed in one of three rooms in the hotel and practically had the place to ourselves along with use of the hot tub which was right beside our spacious balcony. The pool is small but very nice and seats have very comfy cushions and towels are supplied....
