Buying property in Croatia, find out where?

During the last two years many foreigners have been looking and buying property in Croatia. The German national are the most know buyers of Croatia property but lately there is a big number of British and Irish investors buying real estate in Croatia.

Germans have been passing their holiday in Croatia for many years, British were also visiting the country in times of Yugoslavia but it's only now, after ten years of the end of the war of independence that they're back.

Foreigners always were interested in buying property in Croatia as the country offers stunning sceneries to die for but they were turn down by the law of communist times not allowing there to purchase Croatia property. Now the times have changed and foreigners are entitled to buy property in Croatia under condition of reciprocity, if a Croatian national can buy property in your country you entitled to buy property in Croatia.

Britain, Ireland and Germany are all in that group and their national should take the chances as property in Croatia is becoming more and more wanted as an investment. Property prices in Croatia are expected to soar with Croatia ascension to the EU.

There is some legality involved when a foreigner buy property in Croatia, they need to obtain permission from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to register the Croatia property under their name in the local Land Registry. This is just a formality and permissions aren't denied unless the applicant has a compromising record with Croatia.
