The best period for sailing in Croatia is early summer, from May to June with favorable winds while the period in July and August is rather calm and ideal for sailing lovers that prefer sailing in calm waters, with worm Maestral wind that blows sometimes only in the afternoon. During the autumn and winter period winds are particularly strong on the north, lake Bura ans Sorocco winds. This period is perfect for more experienced sailors and so more adventurous for sailing holidays.
