Croatia Makarska hotels

Croatia Makarska and its Riviera  is one of the most famous tourist destinations on the central Dalmatia coast. The 60 km long Makarska Riviera is dotted with numerous pebble beaches, known for the smooth white pebbles and sandy areas.

Makarska is sited below the mountain of Biokovo (1762 m), which protects it from the cold continental climate and is responsible for its rich Mediterranean vegetation, mild winters and  long, warm summers.

Due to the fine pebbles, spacious beaches and the pleasant shade of century old pine trees, we recommend the Makarska Riviera to families with children and those looking for wonderful, well-maintained beaches with a wide range of additional facilities. Besides spacious beaches, Makarska Riviera has many secluded beaches surrounded by lime-stone rocks. The diving and sailing clubs in all larger places organize summer diving, sailing and windsurfing courses, and offer water sports equipment rental. In addition to all of this, the Riviera has a few nudist beaches and health tourism facilities.
