When do you know you are on Croatia vacation? What is your most significant sign that you are on a Croatia holiday?

I have been thinking about this question many times and I find it very tricky to decide what will be the sign that makes your Croatia holidays so noteworthy.

Paris has the Eiffel Tower. When you see Big Ben, you know that you are in London. The same is if you watch New York from Empire State Building. If you see the gigantic statue of Christ, you recognize you are in Rio de Janeiro.

But Croatia does have something special, something we now and then fail to notice and we ask the question how is it possible I havent notice that before?
