These cruises originated in Turkey - the home of the gulet - is now also available in Croatia. This is more of a waterborne holiday, light-hearted and fun, but not a way to learn anything about yachting of any kind. Mostly, you have to charter the whole yacht, but in Turkey and Croatia some do offer cabin charters as well. In the period of low season it’s possible to find economy cruise. Food and drink are not included, and there is an additional cost for half or full board.
