You can also travel from Split to Korcula on the large trans-Adriatic Jadrolinija ferry "MV.Marco Polo" but you have to time your trip to coincide with the sailing times which are only once or twice per week.
The advantage is that the MV.Marco Polo has very good on-board facilities and it will land you and your car at Korcula Town.
