How do I get from Split to Korcula island?

We are 2 adults traveling by car in the beginning of September (until the 15th). Since we don’t have a very tight schedule for our trip to Croatia, I don’t know the exact dates for the trip from split to Korcula (any city on the island) nor from Korcula to Dubrovnik. I wonder if we’ll find a car ferry everyday, or were can I find an easy to read timetable:) so we can make the proper arrangements. I found a few so far on the internet but they just made me more confused....
