Hvar Nudist Islands

Hvar Nudist Islands nad Beaches!

Hvar nudist islands have been always the freedom you've been searching for. Peaceful pebble beaches, flatly shaped stones, shadow from pine trees make these beaches so particular. Hvar island with more than 2700 hours of sun during the year is the most trendy naturist destination in Central Dalmatia.

Crystal clear sea around these islands with a series of small bays are perfect for nude swimming or nude snorkeling combined with kayaking. All islands are connected with regular taxi-boats service leaving from the main ports on Hvar island.

Paklina Island Map

The most popular naturist beaches of the town Hvar are situated on the Pakleni islands. 21 islet make archipelago of Pakleni otoci, with numerous bathing places and a myriad of small, secluded beaches. I will mention the most popular ones. This islands are sometimes wrongly called Hell islands. This name has nothing to do with the name Pakleni islands. Its name derives from Pakal, a black resin which used to be cooked on these islands and used for coating the bottom of wooden ships and boats.

Palmizana beach - is a spacious cove with a shallow sandy beach situated on Veliki otok (Big Island). It is surrounded by a thick pine forest, fragrant heather and rosemary shrubs and a number of exotic plants. Nudism has a tradition on Palmizana, where you can be undisturbed in one of the island's many lonely coves. There is an organized transfer by boat from the port of Hvar.

Jerolim - On the island of Jerolim (named after a 15th-century church which has since disappeared), directly opposite Hvar town. There is a well-known and well organized naturist beach.

Another popular naturist beach is located on nearby island of Zecevo, which is a popular naturism destination since the 60s. Naturist beach on Zecevo island is open in high season and is a 15 minutes taxi boat ride from the town of Jelsa on the island of Hvar. There are nice pebble beaches and pine woods to provide shade.
