Hvar is definitely the most known, the most visited and I must say the most attractive and fashionable destination after Dubrovnik.

Hvar and Paklina islands

  • Since gasoline price in Croatia is rather high (compared with those in USA) dont visit Hvar by car. Use a ferry boat connections from Split or from Rijeka or Dubrovnik.
  • Rent an apartment rather than booking a hotel. There are a lot of private owners offering rooms and apartments.
  • When you are in Hvar restaurant, dont let to the owner to choose your fish meal, the bill could be shocking.
