Iberia - first flight to Dubrovnik

Iberia Flights Madrid Dubrovnik

In early June, the first airplane of the Spanish company Iberia of Madrid landed in Dubrovnik Airport. This was the beginning of regular flights between Madrid and Dubrovnik, available every Saturday and Sunday until 12 October plus every Tuesday from 24 June to 12 October. Company owns 172 airplanes and this is the first time in history that regular flights are available between Spain and Croatia.

Last year, 154 thousand Spaniards visited Croatia, which is one third more than 2006. Further growth is expected this year.

It expects to carry over 14,000 passengers on the route of the first flight to Dubrovnik started on june 2008 from Madrid airports Terminal 4 with a seat occupancy of more than 85%.

The Spanish airline will fly to Dubrovnik from June 7th to October 12th and will operate three return flights on Tuesday, Saturdays and Sundays in July, August and September. In June and October, it will offer two weekly flights, on Saturdays and Sundays, between Madrid and the Pearl of the Adriatic.
