Novalja is a town on the northern
Dalmatian island of Pag, well known for its Pag lace and
world-renowned Pag cheese. Spend your days on one of Pag's sand
beaches, considered among the most beautiful on the island. While your
evening outings can be completed by the island's specialty, Pag lamb.
The island of Pag
is the fifth largest island in the Adriatic Sea and its
well-indented coastline is the longest in the Adriatic. It is 270
kilometres long, full of bays, coves, capes and beaches. Near
Novalja you can find all types of beaches from beautiful sandy
beaches to pebble ones.

How to get
there?
By ferry:
During the summer season (30. 5 - 30.
9. ), on the direction Prizna - island Pag (Žigljen), ferries sail
24 / 7, and in the rest of the year, they sail 13 times during the
day in both direction, from 5.30 h in the morining till 22.30 h in
the evening.

By the car / bus:
From
Zagreb or Rijeka , with the ferry Prizna - Žigljen. On the south
side of the island, you can come over the Paski most (Paski bridge).
from Zagreb and Split, except with the ferry, you can drive on the
highway and go out on the Posedarje exit and then over the Paski
most. From central and south Italy, on the direction Ancona - Zadar,
you can come with the ferry, and then over the Paski most to
Novalja.

The nearest international airport
(airport Zemunik - Zadar) is 80 km or 60 minutes of drive, from

Trincel
beach is located in Stara Novalja (Old Novalja), north of the town
of Novalja, at the island of Pag. The beach is covered with soft
sand, surrounded by vegetation and close to the road leading to the
city center.
The beach has beach volleyball
court , waterslide for kids into the water, dressing cabins, showers
and toilet, rentals of canoe and peddle boats, rentals of lounge
chairs and umbrellas, fast food at the beach, mini bar located at
the center of the beach, large parking area, first- aid and
life-saving equipment and life-guards. This beach attracts many

Zrce is a long, streched, pebbled
beach, close to the town of Novalja, situated in the north-eastern
part of the island of Pag and the beach is a cove opposite the town
of Pag. The beach is urban and well visited by the local population
and the tourists.
The beach is known as the party
beach of Croatia. There are three beach clubs,
Aquarius,
Kalypso and
Papaya, which are open
around the clock during summer.
Papaya
is arranged in exotic style and it offers bar, restaurant, VIP area,
pool, water slide, jacuzzi, after beach parties, cocktail parties,
foam parties and dancing all night. Varied music styles are played
by resident and international DJ's.
Aquarius
is superbly equipped, it has places to eat, drink and dance,
aerobics, homemade ice cream and also a fun pool! Often there are
theme parties, bubble parties, live concerts, resident and
international DJ's playing hippiest house music.
Kalypso
is a beach sport bar offering sand volley, darts, badminton,
then cocktails, Internet access, fast food, but also all kinds of
other fun events including Miss and Mister competition and of course
good music until morning.

Caska bech is in close vicinity of
Caska settlement offering rooms rooms in the suites of its
hospitable landlords in the immediate vicinity of this beautiful
beach.
If you hire the boat transportation
services, offered by the landlords, you can visit all nearby
beaches. The choice is yours.
It you wish to excellent food from the
sea in front of you, or taste the lamb that grazed that particular
rocky ground pasture, sail to the Caska beach and visit the
restaurant Zal.

Sveti Duh sandy beach is one of the most beautiful on the Island, located
10 kilometers east of Novalja town. It is about 5 kilometers long
and it is connected with the beach Eista, which is also a sandy
beach, while from the other side of beach St. Duh.
Half of the beach is used by
naturists. Entrance is charged 5 Kuna (that's about 0.7 EUR). On the
southern end of the beach you can find small autocamp "Sv. Duh" with
basic facilities (bar, sanitary equipment).

Strasko is one of the biggest
and nicest campings on the Adriatic coast, located 2 km south-east
from Novalja. It can be reached from Novalja by car, by foot or by
mountain-bike trough the forest path. The Camping has a lovely
seaside setting in the shade of Dalmatian oak, pine and olive trees
along about 2 km of beach. It offers a large number of sporting and
recreational facilities, restaurants, bars, shops, evening
entertaining programs for children and adults and place for lifting/carrying
the boat to the water. There are also fully equipped, air
conditioned bungalows to rent.
One (smaller) part
of the camping is reserved for naturist guests. While almost all
facilities are on the textile side, naturist section has its own
restaurant.
The beach in textile part is covered with pebbles and 700 m long,
while the sea bottom sandy. |

Rucica sandy beach: Though this sandy beach
is rather undiscovered you should visit it. A hidden beach is about
10 km from Novalja, near the village Metajna on the island of Pag,
Croatia.
