November Weather
in Croatia

November weather monthly values in Croatia

November weather in Croatia is more favourable for sightseeing, art exhibitions and musical events.Dubrovnik is almost tourist free in November - walk the walls, see some of the smaller museums, or just hang out at cafes. In Zagreb, I recommend seeing whatever is playing at the national theatre. The tickets are cheap. Also see the Mimara Museum - a fabulous private collection of every sort of art. Split is amazing in November.

The tourist season is over and the most hotels along the coast are closed from November to March. In big cities like Zagreb, Split or Dubrovnik hotels are open all winter and prices are more convenient.

To find more about weather in November, about air temperature and sunshine duration in main cities like Dubrovnik, Rijeka, Osijek, Split and Zagreb, here is the official web site of Croatia Meteorological and Hydrological Service with useful information about monthly values for November.

If visiting Croatia in November many cultural events are taking place worth to be visited. If you happen to be in Istria don’t miss to visit:

St. Martin's Day, November 11 - which marks the day when the must traditionally turns to wine. The must is usually considered impure and sinful, until it is baptised and turned into wine. The baptism is performed by someone who dresses up as a bishop and blesses the wine, this is usually done by the host. Another person is chosen as the godfather of the wine. Source – Wikipedia .

The day celebrated in Tar, Vrsar and Buzet.
