Pag island reviews
From real travelers

Pag island reviews and all deals for Island of Pag!

Plan your vacations with your Pag island reviews, tips and photos posted by real travelers. Find out where to stay, what to see and where to eat.

The island of Pag is in my very subjective opinion, one of the most beautiful in the world. geographically, it is a unique island, made up nearly entirely of stone. the stone landscape is often said to resemble the moon. The island of Pag (otok pag) is around 63km long, and extremely long and narrow. It is located in the middle Dalmatia region, with the nearest main city being Zadar.with only a population of roughly 8,000 people, it is quite stark and lonely. It's the type of place to come for calm and solitude.

The island of Pag has a small regional capital, also known as Pag. It is a charming small town, with a few stores, markets and basic amenities. The most of the buildings you will see here today were built by the Venetians around the 1400's. Venetian influenced architecture is predominant here.

A few things to see & do in the town center:

  • St Mary, the assumption church.
  • Duke's palace (Knezeva palaca).
  • A stroll along the waterfront.
  • See the one tower and bit of wall remaining from the old fortification.
  • Enjoy coffee in a cafe by the sea.

Where to stay and to save!
