Sea kayaking is the perfect way to
explore Croatia's unspoiled coast and islands. This weeklong tour
begins on Lopud Island, a 40 minute ferry ride from Dubrovnik, the
best preserved walled medieval city anywhere. Situated in the middle
of the three inhabited Elafiti Islands, Lopud is the perfect site
for kayak touring the Elafiti Islands and for the tour's home base.
You stay in a quaint stone guesthouse in Lopud's only town. You
enjoy picturesque scenery, vibrant sunsets and delicious local
cuisine at a private restaurant overlooking the island’s wide
beach-lined bay.
Days are spent “hopping” from island to island, as the 3 “living”
islands are small and near-by. Paddlers are dazzled by crystal clear
water, coastal cliffs and caves, and secluded beaches and coves.
Paddling distances are relaxed (about 15 km. per day), leaving
plenty of time to experience natural and cultural treasures or
leisurely explore the islands and the sea. |

Lopud, Kolocep and Sipan belong to the Elafiti Islands Archipelago –
13 green islands covered by pine forests, without car traffic, with
lots of sunshine and sandy beaches, less than an hour from
Dubrovnik.
This area is also known as one of the most preferable
