Mljet island don’t miss two highlights, Malo Jezero and Veliko Jezero (Small and Great Lake). These two lakes are connected by a channel. In the middle of Veliko Jezero there is an islet with a Benedictine Monastery with the Church of St.Mary, built in the 12th century.
