DVDs about Croatia

Croatia Dalmatia-South Korcula-Peljesac-Mljet-Dubrovnik
The eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea is the most beautiful area of the whole adriatic region. This is not just the opinion of the Croatian people themselves; the abundance of modern yacht owners, famous cruisers and globetrotters bear witness to its worldwide popularity. Nowhere in the Adriatic sea is there a region with as many islands, sheltered bays, capes, sun-drenched reefs, picturesque beaches and lush vegetation. Every visitor can find a quiet, peaceful place here, but the region also satisfies the "culture vulture" with its numerous historical places of interest.

Croatia - Dalmatia
You're getting ready for a holiday to Croatia and you don't know which part of the Adriatic to go to? With our video guide you will visit the most interesting places in Dalmatia and the most beautiful parts of the Adriatic coast. You will view the ancient town of Zadar with its nearby recreational areas and visit the island of Pag. The national park of Kornati is awaiting you with hundreds of islands and the national park of the river Krk with its magical waterfalls. You will travel through central Dalmatia to Primosten, Trogir, Split, Omise and Brela. The Makarska riviera will embrace you with its recreational centres of Baska Voda, Makarska, Tuepy, Podgora, Igrane, Zivogose, Drvenik and Gradac. You will visit Hvar, one of the most beautiful islands of the Adriatic, as well as the largest island in Dalmatia - Brac. Koreula, the greenest island, welcomes you with traditional folk music. You will also see the recreational areas of southern Dalmatia - Orebie, situated in the south-west of the Peljesac peninsula. Our journey through Dalmatia ends in the most beautiful town of the whole Adriatic - Dubrovnik

Croatia-Istria
The Istria peninsula is traditionally one of the most visited areas of Croatia. Millions of tourists from all over Europe come here to spend their holiday. Our film introduces the most beautiful amphitheatre-the world famous Colosseum and touristic area Medulin. Popular with tourists is Rovinj and Vrsar with its beaches. On the west coast of the peninsula we visit the town Porec, where we taste the great Ice cream. The beautiful corners of Novigradu and Umagu are expecting us. Not only the Adriatic coast, but also the inland is tempting us to visit. Thats why we'll visit historical towns Motovun, Beram and Pazin. Rabac with its peaceful bays and cypress groves is one of the most sought after places on the Istria coast. Our trip, however, does not end here. Through the port city of Rijeka we get to the islands of Krk and Rab, where we'll visit the most famous coastal holiday centres.

Borderland - Sea Kayaking Croatia
Croatia is Borderland. The goal of this film was to kayak its length, through the 1,246 islands lying like marbles atop what astronauts claim is the bluest sea on the planet, the Adriatic. Used as both transportation and as floating ambassadors, sea kayaks allow Jon and his team - comprised of some of the world's best photographers, filmmakers, scientists and navigators - to reach corners of the world rarely seen. Borderland follows Jon and his team as they explore Croatia's Dalmation Coast on a sea kayaking expedition.

Plitvice: Land Of the Falling Lakes
I've always loved waterfalls, and in this DVD, I couldn't get enough of the beautiful videos scenery and the extraordinary development of this land after the brutal war that the land endured. The animals (brown bear, wolves, beaver, etc.) live in such a peaceful setting and it's interesting to see the lives they have in all seasons. It is one of the oldest national parks in the world and I would suggest anyone, who has the ability to travel, to make it a destination and see the beauty up close.
